Gentle Giants!
This bird is known for it’s impressive size and it’s elegant appearance. Despite their size they are a very gentle chicken that is well suited for beginners or families. These birds are quiet and docile and get along with other breeds of chickens. The Brahma cockerels are peaceful, and not as likely to attack humans or other birds.
Brahma chickens need a fair amount of space due to their size.
The heavy weight and the feather covering on the legs helps it deal with cold temperatures. Egg laying during cold weather is good too.
