Swedish Flower Hens have a friendly, calm and non-aggressive temperament which makes them great for families with children and other household pets.
They seem to possess all the positive aspects of chicken personalities and none of the negatives.
This breed comes in a huge variety of different colours. There is a lot of genetic diversity which means that every Swedish Flower Hen looks unique. Each hen in a flock of Swedish Flower Hens will look completely different from each other.
There is no breed standard for them because they are a landrace breed. Because this breed is landrace they are very healthy chickens with no specific health issues.
